Summer Surf Camps in Costa da Caparica

For families spending their summer in Lisbon, children and teenagers can go beyond a single surf lesson and experience several days dedicated to the ocean.

From June to September, the surf school's Kids Wave Lab runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is designed for children and teenagers aged 6 to 17.

The programme combines surfing and bodyboarding with other activities such as beach games, introductory SUP, skateboarding, yoga and environmental awareness activities.

The objective is not simply to teach children how to surf. It is also about helping them develop confidence in the ocean, motor skills, friendships and a positive relationship with the sea in a safe and supervised environment.

Professional surf instructors, insurance, surfboards and wetsuits are included. The programme also includes additional activities throughout the day.

Summer Surf Camp — from €255 per week

A lunch-inclusive option is available from €305 per week.

Single-day participation may also be available from €70, subject to availability.

For individual surf lessons outside the camp format, the school also teaches younger children on an individual and personalised basis, depending on the child's age, confidence and circumstances.

Want to surf but don't have a car?

Surf lessons can sometimes be arranged at short notice, including the following day or even the same day when availability allows.

However, we strongly recommend booking as early as possible, particularly during Lisbon's busiest summer months of July, August and September.

Requests can normally be accepted until approximately 24 hours before the lesson, subject to availability.

Weather, Waves & Cancellation Policy

Surfing depends on the ocean.

Safety always takes priority over maintaining a scheduled lesson.

If weather or sea conditions are considered unsuitable for surfing by the professional surf school, the lesson will be rescheduled for another appropriate time.

For guest cancellations, reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the lesson or course are non-refundable. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the lesson receive a 50% refund of the applicable surf-school booking amount.

Because conditions can change, guests should remain reachable before their scheduled session in case operational adjustments are required.
